Report details

The updated Net Zero Roadmap, developed in close consultation with key representatives of the global Travel & Tourism sector, discusses the latest (2024) status quo on Travel & Tourism climate action, highlighting key progress made in recent years, and a tangible guide to decarbonising the sector. Four new topics have been added that explore current, pressing topics from SAF to certification.

An updated decarbonisation framework has been produced, reflecting the type of emission reduction targets and their corresponding timeframes. The challenges and opportunities in reducing emissions, in line with this framework, are discussed at a sector wide and industry-specific level.

The report also provides an updated decarbonisation action framework with guiding principles and decarbonisation levers to help the sector achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
