Report details

details

The three indices assess power, efficiency, and opportunity in the global Travel & Tourism sector. Developed by World Travel& Tourism Council (WTTC) and Oxford Economics, the indices assess performance of Travel & Tourism, looking beyond the traditional measures.

The indices are:

•Travel & Tourism Power, which is based on the size of Travel & Tourism's GDP, employment and investment.

•Environmental Efficiency, which considers the sector’s environmental footprint.

•Employment Opportunities, which assesses the share, growth and diversity of employment created.

‍

They are designed to provide a common reference point for policymakers, investors, and industry leaders, guiding investment, informing strategy, and encouraging peer benchmarking.
